Manchester United are reportedly the favourites to secure the services of Kamaldeen Sulemana in the summer transfer window.
According to a report by Football Insider, Manchester United are in the driver’s seat to land 19-year-old prodigious attacker Kamaldeen Sulemana in the summer transfer window. The Ghanaian forward is valued at around £15 million by Nordsjaelland.
Kamaldeen Sulemana only arrived in Europe from homeland Ghana in February 2020, when he joined Danish club Nordsjaelland. However, in just a little over a year, the teenage prodigy has gone on to make quite an impression and is enjoying a particularly memorable breakthrough campaign at Farum Park.
In 29 appearances across all competitions, Sulemana has an impressive record of 10 goals and 8 assists to show for his efforts, which points towards the youngster being quite well rounded. That has, in turn, attracted some of the biggest clubs in Europe, with the most notable of the suitors being Manchester United.
Over the years, Manchester United have always been on the lookout for the best young talents on offer in England and Europe. However, that outlook has trickled over to the first-team setup as well, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer focusing on creating a healthy mix of youth and experience in his squad to not only have a team set for the here and now, but also for years to come.
As a result, Manchester United have swooped in the likes of Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Facundo Pellistri and most recently, Amad Diallo. The latest possible recruit for the Red Devils could be Sulemana, who has also captured the attention of Dutch giants Ajax.
Manchester United, though, are already slated for talks to sign the 19-year-old attacker, who can play across the frontline, which makes him a possible long-term solution for the long-standing issue that has been the right wing. Pursuing Sulemana makes a great deal of sense as well, despite the fact that Jadon Sancho is once again the priority for the Premier League heavyweights.

With Chelsea keen on signing Sancho, whose hefty asking price could also be an issue, Manchester United ought to keep their options open, especially considering they could also be making a big-money move for Harry Kane this summer. As far as Sulemana is concerned, a £15 million bid could be enough to secure his services.
However, potential work-permit issues could arise in pursuit of the prodigious Ghanaian forward and it will be interesting to see if that can be overcome. For now, it looks like Manchester United are the favourites to sign Sulemana this coming summer, with an intriguing summer on the cards for the club and the talented attacker.
