Barcelona are reportedly keeping a keen eye on 18-year-old Serbian attacking sensation Andrija Radulovic ahead of the summer.
According to a report by Spanish publication Sport, Barcelona have joined a long list of clubs that have been scouting Andrija Radulovic over the course of the season. The 18-year-old Serb is also the subject of interest from the likes of Manchester City, Tottenham Hotspur, AC Milan, Inter Milan and Benfica.
Andrija Radulovic progressed through the ranks at Red Star Belgrade before breaking into their first-team setup last year. Since making his debut for the senior side, the Serbian prospect has made 12 further appearances while also managing a handy tally of 2 goals and as many assists.
His progress in the past year or so has certainly not gone unnoticed, as can be judged by the fact that a number of top clubs across Europe have been closely monitoring him for quite some time now. And, the latest club to show an interest in the 18-year-old attacking sensation are Barcelona.
Barcelona are no strangers to sending scouting missions across Spain and beyond in search of some of the most talented players in the world. Closer to home, they have had players like Fabio Blanco and Jon Karrikaburu monitored among others while they are also hoping to bring Kays Ruiz-Atil back to Camp Nou.
Like Ruiz-Atil, Borussia Dortmund prodigy Vasco Walz is one of the players they have been eyeing, as far as talents outside Spain are concerned. And, Radulovic is another such player who fits in this category for Barcelona, who have received glowing reports on the 18-year-old, but have not taken any concrete steps to secure his services.
Three Potential Destinations for Barcelona outcast Francisco Trincao | THT Opinions
If they do so, Radulovic could even be integrated in their first-team setup, considering Francisco Trincao is facing an uncertain future at Camp Nou. However, Barcelona will need to move quickly in pursuit of the teenage prospect as The Sun have claimed that Manchester City are already in talks with Red Star Belgrade to sign him.
Apart from the Catalan giants and Manchester City, the likes of Tottenham Hotspur, AC Milan, Inter Milan and Benfica are also tailing him. However, it remains to be seen if Barcelona can do anything to usurp City in the race to sign the 18-year-old this summer.
