PSG have reportedly sounded out Mino Raiola over the possibility of signing Paul Pogba from Manchester United this summer.
According to a report by French outlet Foot Mercato, Mino Raiola has been approached by PSG over the prospect of securing the services of Paul Pogba in the summer transfer window. The Manchester United midfielder is open to the prospect of making his way to Parc des Princes ahead of next season.
Pogba is currently in his second coming at Manchester United following his return in the summer of 2016. However, over the past half-a-decade or so, the French international has blown hot and cold to a great extent, showcasing his ability to win games on his own while also becoming entirely anonymous at times.
This season, Pogba started as a rotation option for Solskjaer but slowly grew in stature and was starting to become an even more important a player than Bruno Fernandes before injury struck. Sidelined with the hamstring injury for nearly two months now, the 27-year-old has turned out 28 times for Manchester United this term, chipping in with 4 goals and 3 assists.
Talks of a possible summer exit from Old Trafford even disappeared for a while, with the rumour mill instead churning out reports of a potential renewal. However, with his current deal running out in just over a year’s time, the Red Devils need to reach an agreement over a new contract soon, especially with suitors lurking and waiting to pounce.
The latest update claims that PSG are eager to sign Pogba in the summer when they wish to bolster their midfield with someone of the Frenchman’s qualities. To that end, Les Parisiens have made an approach to Mino Raiola, who has been extremely outspoken about Pogba’s future at Manchester United, who are set to shake things up in their squad this summer.

The report adds that Pogba might be open to a summer switch to Parc des Princes, a development that is sure to leave Manchester United worried. Meanwhile, apart from PSG, former club Juventus are also eager to make a move for the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner when the transfer window reopens in the summer.
However, despite the fact that is current deal runs out next year, Manchester United would ideally command a hefty sum for Pogba, although their priority would be to tie him down to a renewal and it remains to be seen what the future holds for the Frenchman.
