Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Dani Ceballos will return to the lineup while Cedric Soares is in contention to make his Arsenal debut against Norwich City.

Arsenal will be eager to continue their winning run when they play hosts to Norwich City at the Emirates on Wednesday evening. And, Mikel Arteta has seen his squad’s injury woes ease up ahead of the Gunners’ latest fixture.

The big news ahead of the visit of Norwich is that the Arsenal manager is set to welcome four players back in the thick of things. The likes of Cedric Soares, David Luiz, Lucas Torreira and Mesut Ozil have trained this week. But, while Cedric is available, the other three players will have to pass a late fitness test to be up for selection.

Having regained fitness, Cedric is in contention to make his Arsenal debut. And, during his pre-match press conference, Arteta spoke about the Portuguese full-back and what he brings to the Arsenal first-team.

“He’s a different quality in the full-back area than what we have. He’s a gifted, technical player and is probably the best we have in the final third to make the right decision and attack the box as well. He can play in a four or a five, he’s a really good player with experience in the Premier League that can help us.”

Cedric, though, is unlikely to start, with Hector Bellerin returning to the lineup. With Luiz set to face a late fitness test on Wednesday, Rob Holding is expected to be the centre-back returning at the heart of the Arsenal defence, with Shkodran Mustafi being his partner. Kieran Tierney will complete the back-line, with Emiliano Martinez starting in goal once again.

Meanwhile, Arteta is expected to revert to the 4-3-3 formation he seemed to have used against Southampton last week. In this formation, Bukayo Saka will play as an auxiliary midfielder. Granit Xhaka will be the Anchor Man in front of defence while Dani Ceballos will don the creative hat against Norwich. Finally, in attack, there should be two changes.

Arsenal captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will walk back into the starting lineup after being given a breather this past weekend in the FA Cup. Eddie Nketiah has been growing in stature at Arsenal and will lead the line against Norwich. Aubameyang and Nketiah will have Nicolas Pepe for company in the final third, with Alexandre Lacazette a backup option.
