Now, the very subject of the transfer speculations – Pogba – has been quizzed on his future at Manchester United. But, the French international has refused to rule out a departure from the Premier League club, which should provide a huge boost to Barcelona.

“There was a lot of talk, but it was just like that, I’m under contract in Manchester [United]. My future is currently in Manchester. I still have a contract, I’m playing there at the moment, but who knows what will happen in the next few months.”

Pogba also shed light on his relationship with Mourinho while adding that he always gives his utmost to perform for Manchester United. But, the fact that he hasn’t categorically denied a possible departure should give Barcelona the required impetus to pursue a move, when they renew their interest in him next summer.

In the meantime, the Red Devils look like they will be on their toes for the season to come. But, Pogba’s comments in addition to those made by Barcelona players only makes their job of keeping hold of the player that much harder.

For now though, Pogba remains part of the Manchester United fabric, and the club’s supporters will be hoping he can rediscover his best form, considering he has been one of their most important players in the last couple of seasons.
