Tottenham wonderkid Reo Griffiths is attracting the likes of Real Madrid and PSG, with the youngster yet to pen a professional deal with the North London outfit.
The Sun are claiming that another Tottenham star has managed to grab the eyeballs of top European clubs. Reo Griffiths is drawing interest from the likes of Real Madrid and PSG. The youngster is set to pen his first professional deal, with Spurs trying to get him to commit to the club.
Reo Griffiths is one of the next batch of inspired youngsters emerging from the Tottenham setup. The player started his basic footballing education at Leyton Orient before moving to Tottenham. At Spurs, he has spritzed his magic in every age level. The 2017-18 season saw Griffiths take the under-18 Premier League by storm.
The 18-year-old scored 38 goals in 37 league matches, including the matches in the Final Stage. Griffiths also saw some under-23 action, with 6 appearances in Premier League 2 and has been tipped to break into the first-team setup in the new season.

Needless to say, Griffiths is highly regarded within the club and Tottenham would love for the player to commit to his first professional contract at the club. But, interest from Real Madrid and PSG might pose some problems, even with Spurs tabling an offer in order to ward off the suitors.
PSG have faced defeat in their pursuit of Rhian Brewster, who chose to extend his deal at Liverpool. Celtic on the other hand, are ready to hand him first-team action from the get-go along with the lure of playing in the Champions League at the very instant.
Real Madrid are always on the lookout for bright young gems, as evidenced by them paying top money for Rodrygo and Vinicius Jr.
According to reports, Griffiths is not attracted towards money. The 18-year-old would want to hone his skills in the first-team, with under-23 football system in England not seemed good enough to prepare players for the jump up to the first-team.
This has seen many English players move abroad, with Marcus McGuane opting to sign with Barcelona and Jadon Sancho moving to Dortmund. Jadon Sancho is already reaping rewards, with the player already being tipped to be on the edge of making it to the Three Lions’ senior squad.
What is really problematic for Tottenham is that Griffiths is still on a scholarship deal and could end up leaving for a measly compensation fee, should the 18-year-old opt to sign for any other club. Spurs have a good track record of promoting youngsters and should be able to convince Griffiths to commit to the club a-la Liverpool and Rhian Brewster.
Still, Spurs are concerned with a lack of clarity of what Griffiths is thinking. Wherever he might end up, the 18-year-old forward looks the freshest face in a long line of exciting youngsters emerging for England.
