Henrikh Mkhitaryan has spoken out to reassure his fans that things will improve with his situation

The Armenian international, who joined Manchester United from Borussia Dortmund for £27 million has been silent throughout his exile from the first team squad, but has finally issued an update via social media saying :

‘Better days will come for us! We march on. One for all and all for one! #mufc’

We covered Mkhitaryan’s situation earlier today, and it appears the the Armenian international is more positive than most about his situation.

United were held to a goalless draw last night at Burnley, and once again fans have been questioning why a player of his guile and creativity was not involved in any capacity.

The midfielder has not featured for United since being substituted at half time on 10th September, during the Manchester derby. After the game, Mouinho publicly criticised Mkhitaryan’s performance and that is the last time he has played at all.

Mkhitaryan had been sidelined with a thigh injury, but Mourinho confirmed before the goalless draw with Liverpool on October 17 that the midfielder was available to play, although he was not fully match fit.

But the 27-year-old has not been part of United’s last five matchday squads, and was spotted in the stands at Old Trafford during Saturday’s stalemate with Burnley.

The president of the Armenian FA also spoke out earlier today, saying the midfielder himself was confused by his situation at United. Mourinho, for his part, has said that he is simply trying to give Mkhitaryan time to adapt to the English game.

There is no doubt that something strange is going on behind the scenes, and Mkhitaryan has already been linked with a move away from the club. However, it appears he is willing to stay and fight for his place.
