Tottenham have reportedly joined Premier League rivals Arsenal and Chelsea in the race for £21.5-million-rated Galatasaray youngster Bruma. Fellow London side West Ham are also understood to be keeping tabs on the 21-year-old.
According to Emre Sargiul of Turkish Football, Tottenham were one of four Premier League clubs to have sent scouts to Galatasaray’s game against Kayserispor last week. London rivals Chelsea, Arsenal and West Ham United also reportedly had their scouts in attendance to watch the Portuguese youngster showcase his prowess.
The 21-year-old winger has made a strong start to the season with the Turkish giants as he has scored once and assisted twice in three appearances. He has also been awarded Man of the Match in games against Akhisar and Kayserispor.
3 – Bruma has scored 1 & assisted 2 in 3 games in Super Lig; as many goals as his 32 games in La Liga (2 goals, 1 assist). Difference.

Bruma will undoubtedly be a valuable addition to most Premier League sides given his pace and eye for goal. He is also a lethal striker of the ball and is a phenomenal dribbler.
Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino has fielded a 4-2-3-1 formation since moving to White Hart Lane but lacks quality out-and-out wingers in his side. Christian Eriksen and Erik Lamela have been deployed as wingers on either flank, but neither of the two are predominantly wide men.
Korean star Son Heung-min is arguably the only genuine winger in the Spurs side at the moment. Moussa Sissoko has been playing on the flanks for the last couple of seasons for Newcastle United, but is yet to nail down a permanent starting berth in Pochettino’s lineup.
The addition of Bruma could be the potential answer to the problems the Argentinian manager is faced with in terms of attacking width. Bringing in a proven young player to White Hart Lane will no doubt delight Spurs fans. Also, given his physical nature, the 21-year-old should take very little time to accustom himself to life in England’s top tier.
