With 4 games to go, Louis Van Gaal’s men look set towards a dramatic showdown to decide who gets the 4th Champions League spot next year, as they capitalised on Manchester City’s 1-1 draw away to relegation threatened Newcastle yesterday.
Manchester United looked to have been well out of contention for a Champions League berth last month, but the roller coaster ride the Premier League has been this year has brought them within touching distance of the coveted fourth position, currently occupied by Arsenal with a game in hand.
