Liverpool FC will have Daniel Sturridge and Philippe Coutinho back as they take on bottom side Aston Villa in Premier League clash.
Daniel Sturridge seems to have put his injury behind him having completed 70 minutes in midweek against West Ham United.
Sturridge, Coutinho back
The striker is expected to be starting on the bench though, as Liverpool also welcome their other talisman Philippe Coutinho to the starting XI in a league game, with the midfielder having started in midweek against West Ham.
Speaking ahead of the clash against Aston Villa, manager Jurgen Klopp was quoted as saying by This is Anfield:
“He played about 70 minutes [against West Ham], so he had a normal recovery after.
“He feels good, I heard nothing else. We have to think about how we can manage the minutes, but he took a big step in the last week of course”
Liverpool to have their top attacking trio for the first time
If Klopp does decide to bring Sturridge on with Coutinho and Firmino on the pitch, it will be the first time Liverpool have their best attacking trio together this season. Liverpool also have Divock Origi back and with Christian Benteke also available, the Reds have a lot of firepower up front available for this fixture.
Jurgen Klopp will be without the services of long-term injured forward Danny Ings, Joe Gomez and Jordan Rossiter, with Martin Skrtel still out. Joe Allen, Steven Caulker and Dejan Lovren are all doubtful for the game.
Predicted Liverpool FC Starting XI (4-3-3): Mignolet; Clyne, Moreno, Toure, Sakho; Milner, Can, Henderson; Lallana, Coutinho, Firmino
