Delle Alli’s incredible rise from a player in the Championship, to being one of the best young midfielders in England has been exceptional, and the 19-year-old showed yet again why he is considered to be one of the best.
In the tight match against Crystal Palace, Tottenham Hotspur needed to get the win, to keep up their push for a top-four finish. They were knocking on Palace’s door with around six minutes left of regulation time, when striker Harry Kane crossed the ball into the far side. Christian Eriksen headed the ball square, where Delle Alli was waiting on the edge of the box.
