As Tottenham Hotspur and Leicester City get ready to lock horns for the second time this week, there is a huge news coming out of the Fox’s camp — Jamie Vardy is back!
Vardy had been suffering from a troublesome groin, and had to go through a minor surgery in the area, which prevented the Englishman from taking part in the FA Cup tie between the two sides this weekend. However, Leicester City have confirmed on their official social media accounts that Vardy is back in training.

However, this does not mean that Vardy would be brought straight back to the starting XI by manager Claudio Ranieri. the Italian would probably ease the Englishman back into the team, and is set to start with Okazaki and Ulloa on Wednesday night.
However, accaording to reports in England, Ranieri might keep Vardy on the bench, and may use the striker if Leicester find themselves in the need for goals.
“Jamie had a problem for a month, more or less, and he continued to play. Now without the problem is much better. I’ll see if he starts from the beginning and if he is ready to come with me on the bench,” Ranieri was quoted saying on The Independent. “Every time he wants to play, I know him.”
A completely different match
While the previous encounter between these two teams in the FA Cup ended with both the teams at par with each other, we can expect a much more high-intensity encounter this time round, with the most of their main players available, and ready to play. It would be interesting to see who comes out as victors between the two surprise Premier League title contenders
