Turner starts in goal and is supported by a back four of Takehiro Tomiyasu, Rob Holding, Gabriel, and Kieran Tierney. Arteta has preferred to keep the midfield intact with Sambi Lokonga and Granit Xhaka taking charge. Vieira plays the advanced role vacated by Martin Odegaard.
In the attack, Arteta has preferred to rest Gabriel Jesus and Bukayo saka, although Gabriel Martinelli starts. Marquinhos makes his debut on the right side, with Eddie Nketiah leading the line for the Gunners.
