Mike Arteta has named an unchanged starting lineup to take on Leicester City at the Emirates. There were whispers about including Emile Smith Rowe from the start, but the young attacker only makes the bench after recovering from COVID-19.

The back five remains unchanged, with Aaron Ramsdale keeping his place between the posts. Ben White and Gabriel Magalhaes continue in the central defensive partnership, with Cedric Soares and Kieran Tierney preferred in the full-back roles on either side.

Thomas Partey will continue to operate from the base of midfield while attacking the ball, and Arsenal will revert to a midfield two when off it. Granit Xhaka remains firmly in the team alongside the Ghanaian.

Martin Odegaard will play as the most advanced midfielder, reprising the No.10 role, with two attackers in wide areas in support. Bukayo Saka keeps his place on the right side of the Arsenal attack, while Gabriel Martinelli continues on the left flank. Alexandre Lacazette continues to lead the line for Arsenal against Leicester and captain the side.
