Naby Keita returns to the Liverpool lineup, and Diogo Jota starts in attack as Jurgen Klopp names a strong side for the game against Cardiff City.
Jurgen Klopp has decided to field a strong lineup for the FA Cup fourth round clash against Cardiff City while deciding against starting youngsters. The Reds are desperate to break away from their bad record in this competition and reach the fifth round.
There are some interesting additions to the lineup, with Naby Keita featuring for the first time since returning from the Africa Cup of Nations. Alisson Becker misses out altogether, which leaves Caoimhin Kelleher to start in goal, with Adrian on the bench as his backup.

Virgin van Dijk partners Ibrahima Konate at the heart of the Liverpool defence, while Joe Gomez is missing from the matchday squad altogether. Joel Matip is an option from the bench. Kostas Tsimikas is preferred in the left-back slot for the cup clash over Andy Robertson, while Trent Alexander-Arnold will start at right-back.
Klopp has chosen an energetic midfield trio featuring Naby Keita, Jordan Henderson and Curtis Jones. Takumi Minamino starts the game on the right side of the front three, with Roberto Firmino leading the line and Diogo Jota on the left flank. New arrival Luis Diaz is included in the matchday squad and could come on as a substitute at some point in the second half.
