Joe Gomez and Divock Origi make their first starts of the season as Liverpool prepare to take on AC Milan in the UEFA Champions League group stage tie.
Jurgen Klopp has made four changes to the side that started in the 3-0 win over Leeds United this past weekend as Liverpool get set to play hosts to AC Milan at Anfield in their opening UEFA Champions League match-up of the season.
There are no shuffles in goal, where Alisson Becker remains the undisputed first-choice option. The first change comes in defence, with Joe Gomez surprisingly replacing Virgil van Dijk at the heart of the Liverpool defence to make his first start of the season, partnering Joel Matip. Out wide, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andrew Robertson retain their spots.

Up ahead in midfield, two more changes come into effect, with only Fabinho keeping hold of his place. The Brazilian sits at the base of the three-man midfield unit, where he will have Naby Keita and Jordan Henderson for company, with Thiago Alcantara and the injured Harvey Elliott making way for the duo.
The fourth and final change comes in the attacking unit, where Divock Origi replaces Sadio Mane. Origi, like Gomez, is starting a game for the first time this season and could be leading the line for Liverpool against AC Milan, with Mohamed Salah and Diogo Jota being the two wide men.
