Bruno Fernandes is the captain in the absence of Harry Maguire, as Manchester United prepare to take on Villarreal in the UEFA Europa League final.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has made wholesale changes to the side that started in Manchester United’s final Premier League this past weekend as the Red Devils get set to lock horns with Villarreal in the UEFA Europa League final.
The first shuffle comes in goal, where David de Gea comes in for Dean Henderson. In front of him, Manchester United appear to have lined up in a 4-2-3-1 formation, with Eric Bailly the only player to keep hold of his spot from the last game. Bailly has Victor Lindelof as his partner at the heart of the Manchester United defence, with Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Luke Shaw the full-backs.

Interestingly, Paul Pogba seems to have been deployed in the midfield double pivot, where he will have Scott McTominay for company, with Fred missing out. Bruno Fernandes reprises his usual no. 10 role, playing as the most advanced midfielder.
In fact, Fernandes also dons the captain’s armband for Manchester United in the absence of Harry Maguire. With Pogba starting in midfield, both Mason Greenwood and Edinson Cavani start, with Marcus Rashford competing the attacking unit for Manchester United.
