Mat Ryan makes his debut while Gabriel Magalhaes replaces the suspended David Luiz as Arsenal prepare to take on Aston Villa at Villa Park.
Mikel Arteta has made two changes to the side that started in the 2-1 defeat to Wolves in the Premier League earlier this week as Arsenal get set to lock horns with Aston Villa at Villa Park. Both the changes have been forced upon the Arsenal manager and the first shuffle comes in goal, with Mat Ryan coming in for the suspended Bernd Leno to make his debut for the Gunners.
The second change comes in defence, where Gabriel Magalhaes comes in for another suspended player, David Luiz. Gabriel will pair up with Rob Holding at the heart of the Arsenal defence, with Hector Bellerin and Cedric Soares continuing as the two full-backs.

Up ahead in midfield, there is no replacing the solid partnership of Thomas Partey and Granit Xhaka in the double pivot, with Dani Ceballos and Mohamed Elneny once again being backup options. Emile Smith Rowe, meanwhile, reprises the no. 10 role, meaning Martin Odegaard continues to wait for his first start in Arsenal colours.
Finally, in attack, the in-form trio of Bukayo Saka, Nicolas Pepe and Alexandre Lacazette keep hold of their spots, with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang on the bench again. Lacazette will lead the line for Arsenal against Aston Villa, with Pepe and Saka being the two wide men.
Arsenal Starting Lineup: Ryan, Bellerin, Holding, Gabriel, Cedric, Xhaka, Partey, Saka, Smith Rowe, Pepe, Lacazette
