Victor Lindelof has been cleared fit to start for Manchester United as the Red Devils take on Aston Villa later this evening.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has made no changes to the side that secured a 5-2 victory against Bournemouth, for the Premier League clash against Aston Villa on Thursday evening.
There were doubts about Victor Lindelof’s fitness heading into this game. But, he seems to have shrugged off his back problems and retains his place at centre-back, alongside the ever-present figure of Harry Maguire.
The wide defensive duo of Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Luke Shaw, who have been excellent for Manchester United since the lockdown, also retain their place in the starting eleven, ahead of Diogo Dalot and Brandon Williams, with the latter being an option on the bench.
In midfield, Solskjaer hinted the potential return of Scott McTominay in the number six role. However, the young Scot once again starts on the bench, with the in-form Nemanja Matic once again set to cover the holding midfield role, alongside Paul Pogba.

Pogba, however, is more than expected to operate as a number eight. His combination play with new signing Bruno Fernandes has been magnificent and Manchester United fans will be hoping for the same this evening.
And finally, the in-form offensive trifecta of Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial and Mason Greenwood are all set to once again lead the Manchester United attack as they look to demolish lowly Aston Villa. Odion Ighalo is among players named on the bench and could make an appearance later in the game.
