Bruno Fernandes has surprisingly not been rested while Juan Mata and Eric Bailly get a rare start as Manchester United prepare to take on Norwich City in the FA Cup.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has made eight changes to the side that easily got past Sheffield United in the Premier League as Manchester United get set to lock horns with Norwich City in the FA Cup quarter-finals.
The first shuffle comes in goal, as Sergio Romero replaces David de Gea, taking his customary place in a cup fixture. There are a couple of changes in defence, with Eric Bailly and Diogo Dalot handed rare starts. Bailly partners captain Harry Maguire at the heart of the Manchester United defence while Dalot is the visitors’ right-back, with Luke Shaw starting on the left flank.

Up ahead in midfield, there is an entirely new double pivot, with Scott McTominay and Fred being recalled, as Nemanja Matic and Paul Pogba get a breather. Bruno Fernandes, though, keeps his place in the side, and quite surprisingly so, with Solskjaer choosing not to rest him.
The rest of the side has a new look, with Juan Mata, Jesse Lingard and Odion Ighalo starting. The trio take the places of Mason Greenwood, Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial. Ighalo will lead the line for Manchester United against Norwich, with Fernandes playing off him as the no. 10. Mata and Lingard are the two wide men.
Manchester United Starting Lineup: Romero, Dalot, Bailly, Maguire, Shaw, McTominay, Fred, Mata, Fernandes, Lingard, Ighalo
