Curtis Jones will captain the Liverpool side that has three debutants for their FA Cup fourth round replay against Shrewsbury Town at Anfield.
Liverpool youngster Curtis Jones will don the captain’s armband for their FA Cup fourth round replay against Shrewsbury Town. The 19-year-old becomes the club’s youngest-ever captain, leading the side in the absence of the senior squad members, who are away on their winter break.
Jones starts in the three-pronged attack for Liverpool that also comprises of summer signing Harvey Elliott, along with Liam Millar, who will be making his first-team debut after having returned from a loan spell at Kilmarnock recently.

There is a debutant in the middle of the park as well, with 18-year-old Jake Cain making his first-ever appearance for Liverpool. He will be partnered by Leighton Clarkson who is starting his first match for the senior team. Pedro Chirivella adds some experience in the holding midfield role for the Reds.
Another debutant for Liverpool comes in defence where Adam Lewis starts at left-back in the absence of the injured Yasser Larouci. Neco Williams slots in at right-back while Ki-Jana Hoever and Sepp van den Berg pair up at the heart of the defence. Caiomhin Kelleher gets the nod in goal.
