Gallacher starts on the left side of the Liverpool defence, with Ki-Jana Hoever deployed as the right-back. Boyes has Sepp van den Berg as his central defensive partner. In midfield, Herbie Kane makes his full debut for the Reds, while Isaac Christie-Davies turns out for the senior side for the very first time.
Kane and Christie-Davies are accompanied by Pedro Chirivella in the middle of the park. The three-pronged attack sees Harvey Elliott return, but Rhian Brewster has been unable to prove his fitness. Elliott has Thomas Hill and Luis Longstaff as his partners in the final third, with the duo making their senior debuts for Liverpool against Aston Villa.
