Liverpool Confirmed Lineup vs Bournemouth: Klopp rings in the changes as Salah, Firmino return

Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino return as Jurgen Klopp rings in the changes for Liverpool’s Premier League fixture against Bournemouth at Dean Court.

Jurgen Klopp has once again made a raft of changes as Premier League leaders Liverpool get set to lock horns with Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium. The shuffles begin right at the back as Alisson Becker returns in goal after serving a one-match ban last time out. The Brazilian replaces Adrian.

Klopp has made just one change to the defensive line, with Trent Alexander-Arnold being benched. Joe Gomez comes into the side in place of his compatriot, starting on the right side of the Liverpool defence. Dejan Lovren continues as Virgil van Dijk’s central defensive partner, while Andrew Robertson retains his place on the left.

James Milner starts once again in midfield, presumably as the holding midfielder, after impressing in the role against Everton. Milner’s partners, however, have changed, with Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson and Naby Keita starting against Bournemouth, with Georginio Wijnaldum and Adam Lallana making way.

As expected, Sadio Mane has been handed a well deserved rest, after playing every game since the international break. Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino, though, start after being given a bit of a breather in the Merseyside derby. Salah and Firmino have Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain for company in attack, with Divock Origi dropping to the bench, like Mane.
