Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane are among those who have been benched, while Divock Origi starts for Liverpool as they welcome Genk to Anfield.
Jurgen Klopp has rung in the changes as Liverpool get set to play hosts to Genk at Anfield for their fourth UEFA Champions League Group E fixture of the season.
There is no replacing Alisson Becker in the Liverpool goal, with Adrian being his deputy once again. The changes begin in defence, with Joe Gomez replacing Dejan Lovren as Virgil van Dijk’s central defensive partner. James Milner comes into the side in place of Andrew Robertson, with Trent Alexander-Arnold being the right-back.

Up ahead in midfield, Fabinho starts as the holding midfielder, with Adam Lallana making way. Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson has been rested altogether and Naby Keita starts in his stead, with Georginio Wijnaldum the only midfielder retaining his place for the visit of Genk from the game this past weekend at Aston Villa.
The big news is that Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane have been benched, perhaps with one eye on the big Premier League fixture against Manchester City this weekend. Firmino is replaced by former Genk man Divock Origi, while Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain takes Mane’s place, leaving Mohamed Salah as the only first-choice forward who starts.
Liverpool Starting XI: Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Gomez, van Dijk, Milner; Keita, Fabinho; Wijnaldum; Salah, Origi, Oxlade-Chamberlain
