Paul Pogba returns to the starting lineup, while Axel Tuanzebe is the Manchester United skipper for their Carabao Cup Third Round fixture against Rochdale.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has rung in the changes, as Manchester United get set to take on third-tier outfit Rochdale in the Carabao Cup Third Round at Old Trafford. And, as was the case against Astana in the UEFA Europa League last week, youth is the name of the game for the hosts.
The most eye catching part of the lineup is the fact that Axel Tuanzebe has been handed the captain’s armband by Solskjaer. Tuanzebe will have Phil Jones as his partner at the heart of the Manchester United defence, while Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Marcos Rojo form the full-back pairing. Sergio Romero lines up between the sticks for the Red Devils.

The big news, meanwhile, is that Paul Pogba is finally fit to return to action. And, the Frenchman starts straightaway, with Fred accompanying him in the midfield double pivot. Pogba will provide the creative impetus alongside Andreas Pereira, who starts on the right side of the Manchester United attack.
Another positive bit of news is the return of Mason Greenwood, who will lead the line for Manchester United, with Jesse Lingard playing off him. Tahith Chong completes the lineup, with James Garner and Brandon Williams among the youth players on the bench.
