Fabinho is among four players returning to the starting lineup, while Roberto Firmino is only fit to make the bench as Liverpool prepare to take on Barcelona at Camp Nou.
Jurgen Klopp has made four changes to the side that beat Huddersfield Town last Friday as Liverpool get set to lock horns with Barcelona in the UEFA Champions League semi-final first leg at Camp Nou.
The first change sees Joel Matip return to the heart of the Liverpool defence, replacing Dejan Lovren to be Virgil van Dijk’s partner. Andrew Robertson continues in his role as the left-back, but Joe Gomez starts his first game since recovering from injury, replacing Trent Alexander-Arnold on the right. Alisson Becker retains his place in goal.

Up ahead, Jurgen Klopp’s team selection suggests a change in formation, with the Liverpool manager naming four midfielders in his starting lineup. The changes in the middle of the park sees Fabinho and James Milner come in for Jordan Henderson and Daniel Sturridge, with the latter dropping out of the matchday squad altogether.
Milner and Fabinho are joined by Georginio Wijnaldum and Naby Keita in midfield, while Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah look set to start in what looks like a strike partnership. Roberto Firmino, meanwhile, is only fit enough to start on the bench, where he has Alexander-Arnold, Henderson, Lovren, Divock Origi and Xherdan Shaqiri for company.
