Marcus Rashford is one of two changes made by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as Manchester United get set to take on Southampton at Old Trafford.
The English international has replaced Diogo Dalot, who was deployed in an advanced role in the final third against Crystal Palace on Wednesday. Giving Rashford company in the Manchester United attack are Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez, with the former possibly moving to the right flank.
The other change made by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer comes in midfield, with Andreas Pereira replacing Fred, who was far from his best in the midweek league tie. Paul Pogba and Scott McTominay retain their places, with the latter playing the holding midfield role in the absence of Nemanja Matic once again.
The backline remains unchanged, with Chris Smalling and Victor Lindelof starting at the heart of the defence, while Luke Shaw and Ashley Young are the full-backs. David de Gea continues in goal, in what will be his 350th appearance in a Manchester United shirt against Southampton.
