Jurgen Klopp has made three changes to the side that was held to a draw by Manchester City, as Liverpool prepare to face Huddersfield Town at the John Smith’s Stadium.
Xherdan Shaqiri makes his second Premier League start for Liverpool, with Daniel Sturridge and Adam Lallana the other two changes for the Reds. Sadio Mane has seemingly not managed to recover from his injury, and has been omitted from the matchday squad altogether.
The other major decisions see Georginio Wijnaldum and Roberto Firmino miss out, starting on the bench, while Virgil van Dijk and Mohamed Salah are fit to start.
