Jurgen Klopp has made six changes to the side that lost to West Bromwich Albion last weekend as Liverpool prepare to face Huddersfield Town at the John Smith’s Stadium.
Club captain Jordan Henderson makes his first start in five weeks after recovering from a hamstring injury, while the likes of James Milner, Loris Karius and Dejan Lovren return to the side as well. Virgil van Dijk is a big name absentee, good enough only for the bench.
For the hosts, Huddersfield, Terence Kongolo has been handed a full debut by David Wagner upon moving from AS Monaco earlier this week. Steven Mounie and Laurent Depoitre comprise a two-pronged strike partnership.
