Jose Mourinho had made ten changes to the side that beat West Bromwich Albion as Manchester United prepare to face Bristol City in the Carabao Cup quarterfinal.
Paul Pogba returns from suspension to start in midfield alongside Scott McTominay. Luke Shaw makes yet another start in December, while Anthony Martial returns as well. Sergio Romero replaces David De Gea in goal, while Zlatan Ibrahimovic makes his first start of the season, donning the armband.
As far as the hosts are concerned, Lee Johnson has made just one change from his side on the weekend, bringing in Luke Steele in place of Frank Fielding.
