Simon Mignolet is a shock absentee from Jurgen Klopp’s matchday squad as Liverpool host Arsenal at Anfield

Loris Karius has replaced the Belgian in goal, with Danny Ward his understudy on the bench. Meanwhile, Trent Alexander-Arnold starts from the bench as well, with Joe Gomez starting in place of the promising teenager at right-back.

Alberto Moreno continues as left-back, despite Andrew Robertson making an impressive debut for the Reds last week. Mohamed Salah, too, returns to the starting lineup after being replaced by Daniel Sturridge against Crystal Palace last week.
