Laurent Koscielny has been rested by Arsene Wenger as Arsenal host Sunderland at the Emirates.
Koscielny has been replaced by Kieran Gibbs in the starting lineup, and the Englishman slots in as the left wing-back, with Nacho Monreal being deployed in the back-three in the Frenchman’s absence. Aaron Ramsey is the only other change made by Wenger, with the Welshman replacing Francis Coquelin.
Sunderland play their penultimate Premier League game tonight, and David Moyes has made two changes to the side that faced Swansea on the weekend, as he brings back experienced heads in John O’Shea and Lee Cattermole into the side.
