After going off against Watford on Monday, many feared that Philippe Coutinho’s injury was serious. However, the Brazilian has fought it off, and is now named in the starting eleven for Liverpool’s home game against Southampton.
Adam Lallana was expected to start on his return from injury, but he makes the bench. Divock Origi leads the line along with Roberto Firmino and Coutinho, while Daniel Sturridge only settles for a spot on the bench. It is an unchanged eleven for the Reds.

Southampton are looking for their first win in three, and have made one change from the side that played out a goalless draw against Hull City. James Ward-Prowse comes in for Nathan Redmond, and will play in midfield along with Oriol Romeu and Steven Davis.
Cedric Soares starts at right-back, while Maya Yoshida partners Jack Stephens at the heart of the defence. Ryan Bertrand, who may well be wearing the red of Liverpool next season, starts on the left side of defence.
