Cristiano Ronaldo scored a fine free-kick to take his international tally for Portugal to 70 goals. The Real Madrid superstar had already opened his account for the night with a great shot from the edge of the area but his second goal was definitely the more memorable one.
Ronaldo managed to catch Hungary’s goalkeeper Peter Gulasci by surprise with a shot towards the far corner but despite that, his finish had to be perfectly placed in order to beat the goalkeeper and the Portuguese captain ensured that it was. You can watch a video of the goal below.
