Lionel Messi was at the centre of another Barcelona rout, as Luis Enrique’s side dismantled Eibar in a clinical fashion to win 4-0 at the Ipurua Municipal Stadium on Sunday night.

Barcelona were dealt a huge blow early on in the match as Sergio Busquets had to be stretchered off after just 10 minutes after suffering at the hands of a late, heavy Gonzalo Escalante tackle.

However, it was his replacement, Denis Suarez, who started the rout for the visitors as he struck a sublime long range effort to score his first goal in Barcelona colours, in the 31st minute.

The famed MSN trio took over in the second half, starting with Lionel Messi who began and ended the move to double Barcelona’s lead in the 50th minute by finding Luis Suarez on the right from midfield, before continuing a darting off-the-ball run to coolly slot a half volley past the onrushing Yoel.

Luis Suarez then made it three after capitalising on an error Florian Lejeune midway through the second period, before Neymar ended his league drought by scoring his first goal in La Liga since October, in additional time to complete the resounding win.
