Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has brought back Spanish playmaker Juan Mata back into the starting lineup, in what is David Moyes’ return to Old Trafford.
Manchester United captain Wayne Rooney misses out from the squad altogether from what is suspected to be a knock suffered on the training ground. Meanwhile, Daley Blind returns to eleven in place of Darmian, with Chris Smalling returning to the match day squad for the first time since October. Phil Jones and Marcos Rojo continue in the heart of Manchester United defence.
Meanwhile, Sunderland manager David Moyes has handed starts to Sebastian Larsson and Billy Jones, as the duo replaces Donald Love and Manchester United loanee Adnan Januzaj. Youngsters Elliot Embleton, George Honeyman and Joel Asoro make the bench.
