Liverpool Confirmed Lineup vs Bournemouth: Lallana returns to the squad; Matip out

Adam Lallana has made his much-awaited return to the Liverpool squad but is only fit enough to make the bench, as the Reds travel to the Vitality Stadium to face AFC Bournemouth. Meanwhile, centre-back Joel Matip hasn’t travelled to the south coast of England, and misses out with what is suspected to be a knock. Lucas Leiva fills in for the Germany international.

Roberto Firmino, who was passed fit for this match is in the starting lineup; as are regular first team players including Jordan Henderson, Dejan Lovren, Nathaniel Clyne and James Milner. Divock Origi continues as the central striker. Impressive youngster Ben Woodburn, who recently became Livepool’s youngest goalscorer for the club is in the squad and could see action off the bench.

For Bournemouth, Jack Wilshere starts after missing last week’s encounter with Arsenal due to his loan agreements, and Jordan Ibe could come off the bench to face his former side later. Here are the squads:
