Juan Mata has been handed the armband by Jose Mourinho as Manchester United host Burnley at Old Trafford.

Meanwhile, club captain Wayne Rooney has also made a return to the matchday squad after missing the EFL Cup clash against Manchester City through muscular injury. Right back Antonio Valencia is out with injury and has been replaced by the Italian Matteo Darmian. Regular centre-back pairing of Chris Smalling and Eric Bailly has also been dismantled with Marcos Rojo and Daley Blind filling in, in their absence.

For Burnley, Michael Keane makes a return to Old Trafford for the first time since leaving Manchester United last season. Andre Gray also comes straight back into the starting line-up having served the last of his four-match ban.
