It was a good weekend for Premier League giants Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur as they picked up maximum points against Hull City and Middlesbrough.
The Reds ran riot over a hapless Hull City side as Jurgen Klopp’s men raced to a 5-1 victory over the Tigers. James Milner was the cream of the crop for Liverpool, finding the back of the net twice in the game.
Midfielders Philippe Coutinho and Adam Lallana put up a fine showing, scoring a goal and grabbing two assists apiece. New signing Sadio Mane, too, was among the goals for Liverpool.

Son Heung-min continued his fine form in front of goal as he scored both of Tottenham Hotspur’s goals en route to their 2-1 victory over a fighting Middlesbrough side. Ben Gibson grabbed a goal back in the 65th minute to give his side a glimmer of hope, but Spurs held on to seal all three points.
