Arsenal fans will have their first glimpse of their two new signings, as Arsene Wenger has handed debuts to defender Shkodran Mustafi and striker Lucas Perez.
The Gunners other major summers signing Granit Xhaka has been benched, while Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain starts instead of Alexis Sanchez, who returned late from international duty.
Veteran English international Ryan Bertrand makes his first start for Southampton this season, while their goal scorer from the last game Jay Rodriguez also starts for the Saints.
