Marcus Rashford’s performances have earned him a new chant from the Manchester United faithful.
Every Manchester United fan has been taken aback by Marcus Rashford’s meteoric rise. A player who was reported to be a huge talent but was largely unknown outside Carrington, has quickly shot to fame with his exploits on the pitch.He is now tipped to replace either Anthony Martial or Juan Mata in the starting line-up for the Manchester derby.
The 18-year-old gave yet another complete performance as he came on with around 20 minutes left and scored the only goal of the game in stoppage time against Hull. Manchester United fans on their way back home sang Marcus Rashford’s name in unison as their new chant for the teen sensation made its debut.
The chant reads :
From Wythenshawe and loves to fight
He’s born to play, in red and white
So listen close, it must be said
Like Manchester, Rashford is red.
