Sergio Aguero nets hat-trick despite missing two penalties as Manchester City beat Steaua Bucuresti 5-0 in a Champions League qualifying match.

Argentine striker Sergio Aguero had a rough day from the spot as he ended up missing both of his penalty kicks. The first one was a lowly hit strike, saved easily by keeper Florin Nita while the second one was overhit and the ball flew into the stands.

Despite his frailties from dead-ball situations, Aguero managed to make up for it as he registered three goals from open play and guided City to a 5-0 victory. Pep Guardiola’s side are now one step closer from moving into the Champions League.
