Swiss midfielder Granit Xhaka has been Arsenal’s only major signing so far this summer, and the 23-year-old put up a clinical debut performance for the Gunners in their pre-season friendly against the MLS All Stars.
Xhaka joined Arsenal from Bundesliga side Borussia Monchengladbach for a fee believed to be around £34 million. The central midfielder was brought on in the second half of the game against an All Stars team which had legends like Andrea Pirlo, Kaka and Didier Drogba.
Arsenal emerged as 2-1 winners and Xhaka put in a very promising display.
