One of the greatest sporting icons in the world today, Real Madrid and Portugal winger Cristiano Ronaldo gave a very emotional post-match interview as he celebrated his triumph with the national side after winning Euro 2016.

Portugal captain Cristiano Ronaldo celebrated his second major European trophy this season, after winning the Champions League with Real Madrid. The former Manchester United hero was forced off within the first half an hour of the game after an injury caused by a Dimitri Payet challenge. He was stretchered off the pitch in tears, but was soon on the sidelines egging his team on, as they completed a shock 1-0 defeat of host France.

After the match, Ronaldo struggled to hold back his tears in the post-match interview, as he spoke of the win.
