Portugal coach Fernando Santos has made a total of three changes for his side’s semi-final encounter with Wales. His opposite number Chris Coleman has made two enforced changes, as the Welsh look to defy the odds and make it to the finals.
A booking in the quarter-final clash against Poland has seen Portuguese midfielder William Carvalho sit out this crucial semi-final game. Danilo has been deployed as a central midfielder, hoping to be an apt replacement for the 21-year old.
Seleçao defender Pepe misses out due to an injury and is replaced by veteran Bruno Alves, while Raphael Guerrero is now fully fit and will come in for the under-performing Eliseu at left-back.
For the Dragons, Aaron Ramsey’s absence through suspension may prove to be vital. The Arsenal midfielder has been in sublime form for Wales, racking up four assists and scoring a goal en-route to the semi-finals. Chris Coleman is hopeful that Leicester City’s Andy King can manage to fill in the boots of Ramsey.
Left centre-back Ben Davies earned himself a needless booking in the game against Belgium and will be replaced by the experienced James Tomkins.
