The Round of 16 hasn’t been the best for Arsenal players as both Mesut Ozil and Granit Xhaka failed to convert from the spot.
Mesut Ozil’s missed penalty against Slovakia did not affect the outcome of the match, as his German side dominated a tame Slovakian outfit to win 3-0. Granit Xhaka’s shocker on the other hand, had severe repercussions as his failure to convert from the spot saw Switzerland bow out of the tournament, losing 5-4 on penalties to Poland.
