For Germany’s starting XI for their Euro 2016 Group C match against Poland Joachim Low has brought star defender Mats Hummels back into his lineup.
Hummels, who was said to be having fitness issues, was left out of the starting XI in the match against Ukraine, which they won 2-0.
Interestingly, Low has again gone for a false no.9 in Bayern Munich playmaker Mario Gotze, who is set to operate ahead of the attacking triumvirate of Bayern star Thomas Muller, Wolfsburg attacker Julian Draxler, and Arsenal playmaker Mesut Ozil.
Manchester United star Bastian Schweinsteiger, who had scored the second goal against Ukraine fails to make it to the starting XI yet again, as Real Madrid’s Toni Kroos and Juventus’s Sami Khedira are set to take charge of the midfield.
Here is Germany’s confirmed starting XI.
