Real Madrid midfielder Luka Modric scored a scrumptious goal on Sunday to take Croatia to the top of Group D in the Euro 2016.
Both the sides fought hard to get a strong foothold of the game, but failed to make many inroads into the opponent’s area.
However, the Croats shot into the lead towards the end of the first half, when Real Madrid star Luka Modric slammed in a spectacular volley from around 20 yards out. Modric’s goal came out of nowhere, as he smashed a mistimed clearance into the bottom corner of the net.
