Juventus and Arsenal combined as French midfielder Paul Pogba provided a beautiful assist for striker Olivier Giroud to volley home in France’s 3-2 win over Cameroon on Monday.
Goals from Blaise Matuidi, Olivier Giroud and Dimitri Payet helped France overcome a spirited Cameroon side at the Stade La Beaujoire in Nantes, France. It was Juventus superstar Paul Pogba’s magic that helped put the hosts ahead after Cameroon striker Vincent Aboubakar had cancelled out Blaise Matuidi’s 20th-minute opener.
Just before half time, Pogba showed quick feet to escape his marker and put in a swinging peach of a delivery from distance for Olivier Giroud to slam home on the volley.
