18 year old Marcus Rashford’s year just keeps getting better, with the forward scoring 3 minutes into his international debut.
Marcus Rashford became the youngest player to score on debut for England as he shot home a deflected Raheem Sterling cross at the Stadium of Light to open the scoring against Australia in a pre-Euro friendly.
His Manchester United and national captain Wayne Rooney scored the other one as England beat the Socceroos 2-1. This means that Rashford has scored in his first team debut (in the Europa League), Premier League debut and International debut. A momentous feat that could be the signs that we have a future star in the making.
